We mourn the passing of Dolly Parton, a national treasure and passionate advocate for communities around the world, particularly our littlest learners. We are thankful for her love of learning and her lifelong support of an early love of reading for children. We are proud to be partners with Dolly and the Dollywood Foundation to continue her legacy through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which, through our collaborative investment, supports children ages 0-5 here in our community and in communities around the globe.
Dolly has been a part of nearly 4,500+ families’ story here in Santa Barbara since our first day of partnership with the Library. Even more through her music and art created over her lifetime. Her legacy of service, dedication, and joy will forever be remembered and we are honored to continue her work to build brighter futures for the next generation.
