DONOR ADVISED FUND
Many people have Donor Advised Funds (DAF)s which allow them to donate assets for charity today – and receive a tax deduction now – even though the actual funds are not granted by the donor to the final charity until some point in the future. DAFs can be used to make current gifts and future gifts.
GIVING NOW THROUGH YOUR DAF
If you have a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) with Fidelity, Schwab or BNY Mellon, you can make a CURRENT gift to United Way of Santa Barbara County using the DAF Direct Tool to the right. If your DAF is elsewhere, and you would like information on making a gift to United Way from your DAF, please contact us.
GIVING LATER THROUGH YOUR DAF
