For the past 24 years, local community members have joined together at United Way's Red Feather Ball gala event to enjoy a fun night of music and dancing and raise funds for United Way’s Fun in the Sun summer learning program and United for Literacy reading development programs that give every child the tools and confidence to succeed.
Although we cannot gather in-person for the event this year due to COVID-19, the need for support is greater than ever as 2020 has brought significant challenges to local children and families struggling with prolonged school closures among other impacts. To meet those needs, United Way has been asked to provide significantly greater educational support to our community. Your partnership is needed more than ever before as both Fun in the Sun and United for Literacy programs have expanded services and “gone virtual” to serve students and families at home across the county.

We ask for your support today as we continue to provide uninterrupted access to United Way programs to thousands of children and families, and we are excited to announce that we have adapted our normal Red Feather Ball into a virtual and unique Red Feather Campaign: United | Together!
In the spirit of the Red Feather, we are asking caring community members like you to join together this year by giving generously. Your donation today will ensure the continuation and expansion of United Way education programs, giving local students meaningful connection with their peers and caring educators, individualized learning support, and a sense of normalcy. You can help our local students have the tools they need to be successful.
