It is a pleasure to announce the return of the United Luncheon, an annual event hosted by United Way of Santa Barbara County’s dedicated Women United membership. This year, members and friends are invited to join us at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum on Wednesday, April 30th at 11:00 am for an afternoon of community and support for United Way’s early learning and childcare programs and initiatives. Hear from leaders and advocates supporting our community in building safe and engaging spaces for our youngest members to create a brighter future!
This year’s theme will be Blue in Bloom, a tribute to the seeds we plant together to grow a vibrant and resilient community. Across the country and especially here in Santa Barbara County, a strong childcare sector and accessible early learning programs are an essential foundation in helping our community’s littlest learners grow. Join us at the luncheon to celebrate and support programs like United Way’s Brighter Futures Childcare Initiative, the Fun in the Sun summer learning program, and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which help ensure that local children and families have access to the support they need to thrive.
